The
Blinded Veterans Association Convention was held in Portland, Oregon the last week of August 2009. We made some amazing friends on this trip!! We also got to know some of the BVA staff and made some wonderful connections in addition to gaining new and useful information.

We have managed to keep in touch with several people we met last summer and are looking forward to seeing some of them at the 65th convention in Washington, DC this summer.
