Cycling Camp Nationals

USA Cycling National Championships
Sean has been selected to participate in a pre-race cycling camp during the last week in June in Augusta, Georgia. This camp will be run during the week of the USA Cycling Road Nationals, and racing at nationals will be part of the camp.

This camp is a pre-race preparation camp. The goal is to help riders learn the necessary steps to prepare for a high level competition, including reviewing the course ahead of the races, preparing mentally and physically for best performance, going over race equipment and concluding with racing at the national road race championships

Sean has been working with a coach from Carmichael Training Systems for the past five months by using his stationary bike, training hub, and computer.  He has put more than 3,000 miles on his bike already!  Each week his coach assigns practice drills and riding routines for Sean to follow to improve his speed, stamina, and power.

This will be an exciting trip for Sean as he is moving his paralympic tandem cycling up a level.  He is hoping to qualify and move up the list of cycling levels.  Good luck, Sean!!
